ME Fleet / About the project

Context for every decision

From vehicle signals to inspections, planning and a preserved service history.

01 — How it works

From data to maintenance action

  1. STEP 01

    Data

The vehicle sends signals about its condition and operation.

  2. STEP 02

    Context

Events enrich the vehicle’s stress profile and operating history.

  3. STEP 03

    Recommendation

AI analyses the context and suggests the next action.

  4. STEP 04

    Decision

The operator reviews the recommendation and approves the action.

  5. STEP 05

    Service

The inspection or service result feeds back into the vehicle’s context.

How ME Fleet works
02 — How the system works

From event to maintenance action

ME Fleet is a standalone hardware and software system for proactive vehicle health management in commercial and premium rental fleets. Beyond location tracking and individual alerts, ME Fleet helps explain what an event means in the context of actual vehicle use and which maintenance action to plan.

03 — Stress profile

Vehicle stress profile

The system collects vehicle data through Vehicle Data and correlates it with mileage, route, time, operating and service history, electronic system status, make and model characteristics, and weather conditions. ME Fleet analyses this information to create and continuously update a vehicle stress profile.

It can include stability control interventions and deactivations, loads and impacts, temperature conditions and other available indicators of actual use. This is a continuously evolving record: each new event refines the vehicle profile and informs future recommendations.

As the system accumulates more verified information, it can prioritise maintenance more accurately.

04 — Operating profile

Operating and driver profile

Where permitted and subject to personal data processing requirements, ME Fleet can also create a driver profile and a driving-style risk record. It reflects how the vehicle is used, recurring load patterns and factors that affect operational risk.

Together with the vehicle record, this provides a complete picture of what is happening to the vehicle, how it is used and under which conditions.

05 — Recommendations and service

Recommendation, inspection, decision

The AI assistant analyses this context using accumulated practical experience from specialist workshops and mechanics. Its role is to highlight significant events, identify recurring patterns, prepare informed recommendations and help determine the next step, rather than make a final diagnosis or prescribe repairs automatically.

The operator approves the action, the service team performs the inspection or work, and the result is saved in the vehicle’s history.

06 — Maintenance planning

Maintenance planning

This approach enables service procedures, spare parts and workshop windows to be planned in advance. Work due around the same time can be combined with scheduled maintenance, reducing multiple workshop visits to one.

The earlier a technical risk is identified and checked, the greater the opportunity to avoid urgent decisions, reduce unplanned downtime and make maintenance costs more manageable.

07 — Who ME Fleet is for

Who ME Fleet is for

For commercial fleets, ME Fleet provides greater operational transparency and a more structured maintenance process. For premium rental vehicles, it enables careful monitoring of valuable cars, predictable maintenance and a preserved service history.

Rental scenarios can include automatic contract generation from approved templates. Data entered during rental registration is stored in the system and linked to the relevant vehicle, rental period and customer or driver profile, subject to personal data processing requirements.

08 — Preventing downtime

Preventing downtime

The product’s core value is moving from reacting to problems towards planning action before they cause downtime.
